Financial Options

At Powell TMJ & Sleep Solution, we are committed to providing you with convenient financial options to make compassionate, individualized care available to you. Some insurance companies cover TMJ treatment, while others provide only limited coverage. A portion of oral appliance therapy for sleep apnea is more commonly covered by some insurance companies. Please check with your carrier to determine any limitations. As a courtesy, our office will bill your insurance company for you.

Please note:

• Treatment plans are customized to each patient’s unique needs. Treatment fees can range from several hundred dollars to thousands of dollars.
• Insurance coverage varies greatly by state and policy. Idaho has no state mandate to cover TMJ treatment.
• There are limited benefits for TMJ treatment and for our customized oral sleep devices; MOST DENTAL AND MEDICAL PLANS EXCLUDE THIS COVERAGE (except for rare surgical cases).
• For these reasons, we do not bill insurance, communicate with insurance companies or accept insurance assignment. However, we can provide you with documentation that you can submit independently.

We offer flexible payment plans to fit any budget. Please contact Susanna to discuss your options.
